On a fine summer's day, we decided to try it out. We set off in the direction of Dampierre, following the signposted route. Each village we passed had its own charming little nooks and crannies, buildings to see and people to meet. Far from being regular cyclists, we didn't think we'd make it all the way to the end of our stage, and yet... the road is beautiful and fairly flat. It took us almost 3 hours, but we took our time! We stopped at quite a few places to take photos, have a snack and so on.   So it's possible to do the route in much less time, leave for a full day and pack a picnic or eat on the spot, depending on where you want to go.
