Our experience! We visited the Poitevin marshes as a family on a weekend in November... The weather was nice and there were lots of people there. We hadn't booked and weren't able to take a guided tour (so be sure to book your tour before you arrive!). It didn't matter, we enjoyed ourselves anyway! We rented a boat and some strong arms took care of the rowing. We ended with a visit to the town of Coulon, where we enjoyed crêpes, chichis and waffles accompanied by delicious hot drinks. A wonderful outing for couples, families or friends... Allow a full day for this trip, with a picnic or restaurant meal on site. A nature outing and a change of scenery guaranteed!
