Walk in Saint Jean d'Angély
A new footpath in Saint Jean d'Angély allows visitors to discover the banks of the Boutonne from a different perspective.
This autumn, the municipality of Saint Jean d'Angély inaugurated a new footpath along the Boutonne river, the Chemin du Puychérand. This new path has been beautifully landscaped in harmony with Mother Nature, running alongside the water and vegetable gardens. Just a stone's throw from the Val de Boutonne campsite, you can discover a corner of nature that will take you from the lake to the foot of the Deux Tours and the Cordeliers Museum. Very pleasant and peaceful, surrounded by nature, you can watch wild ducks take flight, see moorhens swimming and listen to the lapping of the water. A wonderful discovery in the golden Saintonge region! You can also take this path to the Clément gardens and pick organic vegetables to brighten up your summer meals.
