Camping Val de Boutonne is a 3-star campsite located in Charente-Maritime in Saint Jean d'Angely between La Rochelle and Cognac. This 2.4-hectare nature campsite is located in the green countryside of Charente-Maritime, near a lake. If you want to avoid the crowds and enjoy a peaceful holiday while still having access to a wide range of activities nearby, come to Val de Boutonne campsite. You can access the lake via a footbridge just opposite the campsite and enjoy the many activities on offer. Activities to enjoy this summer in Charente-Maritime include a rollerblading and skateboarding track, mini golf, boules court, table tennis, beach soccer pitch, fitness areas, walking and cycling trails (cycle route at the foot of the campsite). Children's play areas. Canoes, kayaks and paddleboards. Fishing (fishing licence required).

For added security, your campsite is managed by barriers and closed to traffic from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Surveillance cameras are located at the campsite entrance, in the car park and at the swimming pool.

Come and cool off and treat yourself to a pleasant moment of relaxation by the campsite swimming pool in Saint Jean d'Angely.
Hire bikes from our partner VDS Mobilité to explore the surrounding Charente-Maritime countryside. Children can have fun in the campsite playground or the large playground at the leisure centre. Enjoy our snack bar with its simple and varied menu. We do not organise noisy entertainment in order to preserve the peace and quiet of our campsite... but if you want to enjoy activities and entertainment, the town of Saint Jean d'Angély and Destination Vals de Saintonge offer a diverse and varied programme, which we advertise. And on the other side of our campsite, the restaurant Le Jardin d'Ô takes you away from it all with a jazzy atmosphere every weekend and every evening in July and August.

The campsite has a grocery store selling essential items, and bread and pastries are available every day (to be ordered the day before) from mid-June to the end of August. You can also buy local products.
The sanitary facilities are new, having been renovated in 2018 to a high standard, and are cleaned very regularly throughout the day.

We welcome guests for overnight stays on the campsite or in our unusual rental accommodation throughout the season, with a minimum stay of two nights for our mobile homes in low season only.
